Next Class

Need to make a gift, or something for yourself??? This is my next class at Scrapbook Generation. It is Tuesday, March 6 at 6:00. You will leave with five monogrammed cards to give as a gift, or keep for yourself. (You choose the monogram letter) Cost is $8.00 Interested? Send me a message, and I can get you more information. seem to be taking up most of my "scrap" time lately. The frame was for my mom's birthday. I picked it up at Hobby Lobby. The book I posted was my grandma's birthday.

Ready for Spring

We had some nice weather this week...finally...but now it's cold again. I realize more than ever that I am so ready for spring to come. I want to go outside for long runs, enjoy the fresh air, wear my flip-flops every day, celebrate my 30th in Vegas with my girlfriends, and get ready for another great summer at the lake. I guess I really shouldn't wish my life away...but what's a girl to do? I don't have any new pics of anything other than my pups because it is cold here, and I don't seem to want to do anything except stay warm:) Figure you guys are getting tired of those pups, so I'm actually posting without a picture! I don't usually post until I have pics to go along. I will have some soon. Maybe later tonight, or tomorrow. Until then...I hope someone out there is enjoying some nice weather. Happy Sunday!!!

I'm in "puppy" love!!!

It seems that all I have lately are pics of Barkley. I think I'm in love, "puppy" love, that is. He is at the perfect age right now. Still so, so, so, so innocent, and so, so, so very cute!!! It's hard to read this page on here, but it says...

Barkley and his new collar

Here is a pic of Barkley that I like because you can see his new collar. It is red, and even though you can't see it in the picture, it has silver spikes on it:) he is so cute. I hope he grows into those ears!!!

Ice Storm Pictures

It is really sad to drive around Springfield and see the old trees down like this. These pics were taken during the earlier part of the storm. I need to get some more current ones today. The ice was beautiful, but the damage that came with it is terrible. There are still so many people without power, and no real hope of having it restored quickly.

Cabin Fever

is setting in. Anyone who knows me knows I am NOT a morning person. However, I woke up at 5:40 this morning, and I can't go back to sleep. Now if I had school today, I wouldn't be able to wake up. Weird how that works...So I figured I could work on photo editing right now. That is what I am doing. I have tons of pics of the ice storm we just experienced. I am looking forward to posting them here in a little bit. I have also been busy scrapping. I will try to take pics and post those today also. I am also going to try to CLEAN my house! There is no excuse for the shape it is in, especially since I am off work for the week! Have a wonderful day!!!

Electricity

is back on!!! Thank goodness! Now, let's hope it stays on. We have been without it since Friday evening. We tried to tough it out, and did for a little bit, but Saturday night, we packed up the dogs and got out of here. It was so terribly cold. Thanks to our friends Brad and Christy for letting us hang at their place-and our dogs too. Needless to say, I have never been more thankful for my washing machine, light switch, and heat. It is so good to be home. Have a great week!

Barkley

is so cute, and I think that he and Harley are finally becoming friends. I walked upstairs a couple of days ago, and I saw them asleep together. Barkley is going to school with me tomorrow. That should be quite an experience. I'll keep you posted. This will be interesting. My class is so excited. I think Barkley will have fun too!!!

This is my nephew Reese, and step-nephew Collin, step-nieces Madison, Maddie, and Natalie. I really like how these pictures turned out. I think the kids look so cute.

I have been working on some really nice pages. I can't wait to finish them and post. I have to go get some more paper tomorrow. Hopefully I can finish tomorrow night and post. Just depends on how it goes. I took BOTH dogs to the vet this afternoon, and that was an experience. Two hours spent there, lost my car keys somewhere while I was there, but finally made it home. Tomorrow is Wednesday...yeah!!! My hardest days are Monday and Tuesday. I only have a thirty minute break on those days. The rest of the week is downhill!!! I have really been feeling the need to scrap...a lot!!! I can't wait. It feels good to feel creative again. I guess finally settling in after the holidays, having a new puppy, a beautiful niece, and developing all my pictures helps out with the process. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the comments from my dt buddies. I loved Friday night. Maybe that's why I am feeling creative again. I can't wait for another crop. Happy Wednesday!
