Simply Beautiful

Okay, I know I am always putting pics on here from the lake. I just can't help it. It is so beautiful, and I hope it never stops taking my breath away. These are some pics from when my mom and grandmother were in.

Good to be home....

Ahhh! I just walked in the door of my house! I have been at the lake since Friday with my mom, grandma, dad, and Max. Just today, I was thinking, "I really wish I didn't have to go home....maybe I should stay." But then I decided to come on home. I must say, it feels good to be here!!! We had a good visit, but a few incidents along the way-my mom has a broken elbow and fractured wrist, my grandma's purse was missing until this morning after they left, etc. Thank goodness someone at Cox hospital turned it in to Lost & Found. Anyway, everyone is home safe and we managed to enjoy ourselves despite the not so good circumstances. But mom said we deserve a cruise after this weekend....sounds like a nice idea to me! No, back to the point, I just turned on my computer and suddenly realized I have been missing this part of my life! It is really the only convenience I miss when I am there. Kind of scary.... But I got some awesome photos of the sunset one night. I can't wait to post them!

I was excited to see my class at Scrapbook Generation on their blog. If you are interested, click here! http://scrapbookgeneration.blogspot.com I am really looking forward to teaching this class. Check it out! I have been having a lot of fun creating things for the design team at Scrapbook Generation. I also can't wait to play with all the goodies I got there last week! I especially can't wait to see all the new stuff they have coming from Basic Grey! I can't get enough of that stuff!!!

I will post photos later!!!

Looking Forward

I am so excited! My mom and grandma are coming to the lake in the morning. This will be their first time to stay there since we purchased the lakehouse. I just can't wait to share it with them. Mom is going to help me get my class set up next week too. That is a huge help for me! She offered, so I am putting her to work!!! My dad and Max are coming Sunday night. I just can't wait! I know they will love it! We have Ellie again too. So Harley will have some company. These are just some fun pics from the last time we had her!!! Ellie has a lifejacket now, so she can swim too. She nearly drowned last time-I had to rescue her. Poor thing. We'll see how she does with her lifejacket this time!!! It's pretty cute!

You have to see this!!!

Wow! It is 1:00 am, and I just saw this video that I clicked on through Ali Edward's blog, and it brought me to tears. Rach, if you are reading this, you HAVE to see it. You will definitely have the same appreciation as I do. I saw this father/son duo on Oprah last year, and it brought me to tears throughout most of the show. I had not seen this video, but it is as touching as Oprah was. The son says he feels like he is free when he and his dad do these triathlons together. They do them A WHOLE LOT, like A WHOLE LOT! I can't remember the exact amount, but it is in the double digits per year if I remember correctly. What a lucky son to have such a dedicated father. Seriously, watch the video! It will touch you somehow! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjPrL3n63yg

What A View!

I was looking through the pics that are on my computer right now, and I ran across this photo I took from our boat dock at the lake. I think it looks so peaceful, calm, and inviting. I can't wait to get there tomorrow, and this is why!

Look how cute she is!

I just love this photo! I swear Harley smiled for the camera!!!! Ha! She is really just in her favorite spot, on the top of our deck where she can see all the action in our subdivision!!! She really thinks she's in charge around here, and honestly, she might be!!!

Ryan made it!!!

We just got back from the hospital, and Ryan came through his surgery just fine! Now he is laying on the couch watching television. There were no complications, and he just ate a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Thanks to everyone who has called to check on him, and for all your thoughts and prayers! Now hopefully he will get to feeling better. I just hope he will be a good patient, and not do too much, too fast!!!
