Just wishing I were here right now. Hard to believe a few weekends ago the weather was beautiful, and we were chillin' at the lake. Gotta get back there quickly!!! I am having some symptoms of withdrawal from the place!!!

Hi!!!

Just wanted to say hi from Texas! I have been having SOOOO much fun with Bethany here. I will post more this week! Hope you all have had a good weekend!!! I got to see my old dog, Timber. Bethany's parents have him now. I can't believe how he still remembers me. I am going to post some of his puppy pics next week. I really love that dog. He is a sweetie, and he is so happy at Ronnie and Becky's house. We had dinner there tonight. So good to see them. I can't believe I don't have my camera.

I have been feeling that way lately, and thought this picture of a turtle that Harley attacked at the lake fit perfectly!!! Poor thing, it was scared to death. I think it stayed in its shell for close to an hour before it realized it was safe to come out.

This is what I made last night. I think it is my current favorite page. Maybe my favorite to date!!! I love the bright colors, embellishments, everything!!! I am glad I took my time with this one. I have had the picture printed for about two weeks, and paper laid out. But I just couldn't get it right. I didn't rush, and I am so glad because I love the results!!!

It's weird...

to be at home. Now that I am thinking about it, this is the first weekend we have been here since July 7. It feels good to be here, in MY room, creating. I take my stuff to the lake, but it's not the same. I just love to be in my space, listening to my "scrappy" music, and doing my thing. And, I couldn't wait any longer to post these pictures from last weekend. I decided to learn to drive the boat. I was surprised at the fun of it, too. We found a boat named "Boomer Sooner"! Ryan noticed that it is a 27 ft. Baja, and thinks it's a sign that we should upgrade our Baja!I was just soooooooooooooo happy to see a boat named "Boomer Sooner"!!!! For those who don't know, I am saying, "Down with the horns!". Thought I should clarify.......... Really just antagonizing all my Longhorn friends....for some reason, I have lots of you guys. What's up with that?

My computer is a mess!

For those of you who check my blog, I am sorry to tell you that I CAN'T get online at home. That is really a bummer too, because I have some pretty cool pics to post. It is driving me crazy!!! I have messed up the settings on my laptop, and therefore, I can't connect to the Internet. I am really sad!!!
