She Made My Day!

Tonight I had to take my card samples into Scrapbook Generation for my class in September. I went to the back, and saw Pam, who had taken my explosion book class a couple of weeks ago at the store. She told me she had since made seven books. Wow!!! That was really encouraging to me, and it reassured me that I am so excited to be teaching at the store. I was already excited about it to be really honest, but that just really made my day!!! Thanks Pam!!!

School is becoming a little more routine as of this afternoon. I even squeezed in a short run this afternoon. Looking for a Tulsa Run partner, anybody in??? It is November 11, if you would like to join me. I gotta get to bed, trying to do that a little earlier this week. It is hard for me though. I would love more than anything, to stay up all night and scrapbook. Feels good to feel that way too. I haven't been able to work on anything for over a week now. But tonight, I found my way back to my room, and man, it felt good to just SIT, and CREATE!!! I was working on my card samples for my card class at Scrapbook Generation next month. They are going to be super-cute!!! I will post them after they are finished. Enjoy your day!!!

and I am so glad to finally have a picture of Jessie and I. We always get together last minute, and never have pics together. We had so much fun this past weekend. Just hanging out, talking about REAL life, laughing, and enjoying time. Love this girl!!!

First Day...

and I am exhausted! I forget how much I am on my feet at school. But, on the bright side, I think I have a pretty good group of kids. They seem to be very sweet for the most part. I will be glad when two weeks have passed, and we are all in a real routine. For those of you who know my dog really well, you will be surprised to hear that she seems to be glad I am going back to school. She wakes up with my alarm in the mornings and just can't wait to go outside. We will see if it lasts. I just hope she doesn't start chewing her paws again, as they are almost healed. If you don't know my dog, she has separation anxiety (from me). When I leave her, she starts chewing her paws until they bleed. It is actually pretty sad to see. I apologize that I still haven't posted pics. Maybe later tonight??? We will see. I am hoping to sit down, and just CHILL!!! Have a great evening/day/whatever it may be when you read this.

Back to Work!!!

Well, this is my last day of summer vacation! Tomorrow, I am going back to work. I can't complain! I have had an awesome summer. I have gotten to see all my friends and family, loved the lake, and just had time to RELAX!!! Hopefully it will be a good school year. Justin and Jessica were here from Texas this weekend, and we got to spend lots of time together. It is always so nice to see you guys and just hang!!! I will post pics later this week. I haven't transferred them to my computer yet. I am just too busy getting ready for school. We have Open House tomorrow night, work day/meetings Tuesday, and actually start with students on Wednesday. I'm back to it!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

I finally caught a deer!!! (On camera, that is!)

I caught this little deer in our yard at the lake. It wasn't scared like they usually are. I had time to go in the house, get out my camera, come out, and snap these photos. The best ones I have been able to get so far. We see them all the time there. Our road is called Buck Run. I thought that was kind of funny. Have a great day! I am off to clean a rent house, then cut paper for my class at Scrapbook Generation tonight.

Just a Funny Picture of the Dogs!

This picture is from about a month ago, but every time I see it, I laugh. That is what my car looks like on the way to the lake. I have to get out and unhook the chain that goes across our driveway, so I took my camera with me in hopes that the dogs wouldn't move. They stayed in position. So funny that they get so excited to be there. I guess if I were a dog, I would do the same, but it would be unacceptable for me to do this:)

I had so much fun scrapping these pics of my dad on our Sea-Doo. I did a two page layout, but only posted one of the pages in my scrapbook pages. My dad is such a kid at heart. Just love him!

I also scrapped this adorable picture of Max and Harley. It is in my scrapbook pages too. The title is "So Sweet". I thought that was perfect for this sweet pic!!!
