You wouldn't think I'd be that happy about it, since it was a two day week, but today seemed like several days! I got there early, for me, at 7:15 and left at 7pm. GEEZ! Lots of catching up...
Hmmm...let's see, lake for you this weekend?

Oh, Amy, who will do the Sept. 15th challenge post if you and Allison are both gone?

I don't think we're making it to the lake again...we didn't go for one weekend, and I swear, it seems like it's been a month. Don't work so hard, Holly!!! You need to take care of yourself. We already have the blog stuff ready, I think:)

Are you using the new computer software for school...for grades and attendance? Have you noticed that it counts what day of school it is??? It's depressing. The other day it said "Day 12". I got out the calendar and counted. Sure seems like we've been back longer! :) Have a great weekend!!

Holly, I'll be here the 15th. I don't leave till the 18th!

Hey Heather! I am using the new system, but fortunately, I haven't noticed that it says what day of school it is. Seriously, we have surely been there more than twelve days, right???

About the new system, are you guys having problems with the IM? Amy--I IMd you from home while I was out...did you ever get that? You're lucky you don't have as many grades to enter! BIG PAIN! www.mygradebook.com was SOOOOO much easier!

lol...well today (Friday) is day 16. Not sure that's much better than day 12!!! :) Holly, I haven't even attempted to enter grades yet. We have them due Tuesday, so I'm going to try it this weekend. Heard it's a pain.

Heather, I haven't had any trouble with it so far. But, like Holly said, I only have one class to enter grades for. I guess it equals out though, because I have math, reading, grammar, spelling, and social studies.

Amy and Heather: I managed to get on the system from home just fine, but it is a long and laborious process. Not too difficult, once you get the hang of it. I think it will be a big problem once the parents can see what is on there. I have one bit of advice, don't even think about hitting the little calculator until you are ready for grades to be final. If you have any assignments entered early, but no grades in there yet, it will figure all of those assignments as zeroes. That would send some parents into a tailspin..not good. There is something to this red/gray checkmark thing. I've gotta decipher the Kovach language and get it figured out!!
